Welcome to Layham Hall

Layham Hall was established in 2000. It is a world class dressage facility located in Suffolk, England, one hour from London by train and convenient to Stansted and London City Airport.

Layham Hall is a continuation of the successful 30 year collaboration of Linda Keenan and Kenneth Dyrby which was known in the US as The Tryon Group (South Carolina and Wellington Florida).

 

Kenneth Dyrby

Kenneth Dyrby obtained his Danish trainers license in 1985.

He went to Germany to further his training under Palle Thompson before leaving for the USA in 1987. Since that time Kenneth has trained with Harry Boldt, Kyra Kyrklund, David Hunt, Jurgen Koschel and Nicole Werner.

Kenneth has trained many top dressage horses including 15 Grand Prix horses. Grand Prix horses which he has sold include: Excellent, ridden by Mary Flood, Tiffany Girl ridden in Canada by Linda Southern, Hilcodian ridden by Nancy Polatzker (long listed by USET) and Elliot ridden at the Atlanta Olympics by Susie Dunkley for Bermuda.

Kenneth has competed at Grand Prix on Cayenne, Fillipe, Armando, Indoor, Rholex, Nanette and Fielana placing both nationally and internationally. Bodiccia and Dancing Diamond are soon to start their Grand Prix careers.

Kenneth is a Board member of the International Dressage Trainers Club.

 

Linda Keenan

Layham Hall is managed by Linda Keenan. Linda is a Grand Prix competitor, Zapataro and Dakar, and is a USDF gold and silver medal holder.

Linda is the Secretary General of the International Dressage Trainers Club.
